are you finding their dung much sloppier, usually feed straw and PAS and you could lie on the dung, this year mix of PAS and molasses and very loose
Yes the sugar seems to go through them. If they are skittered on straw and potale molasses etc then I would wind down the liquid a bit that’s if you are just intending to ‘tick’ them over There is a massive difference between them getting some and getting none in my opinion anyway

some recent quotes

Be interested in what mills are quoting “forward” following yesterday’s tariff announcements that will slash all import tariffs on cereal imports under ND?

I didn’t ask sorry. Wheat feed is 12 me I do believe but agree good fresh grass is far better. My r1’s and 2’s are on poorer grazing so will do them rather nicely. Dairy cows will get a kg a day to keep them moving

I was under the impression wheat feed was quite a poor feed and more a filler in a ration and to turn down pellets with it in!?

Had someone try and push imported sugar beet at md for a month now. Call today was £177. Didn’t feel overly cheap for a load they were desperately trying to find a home for. I don’t need any at the Sec, but will need some for bulls over summer.
