Soya £450 
I did think it was steep, I’ve heard they have put their feed up about £30/t in the last month. I did ask what creep was likely to do and they think it won’t go any higher, it’s £315 in totes at the minute.
I was told on Friday because I had ordered and taken delivery in Jan that they would stick to price through to the end of april

Layers pellets seem to have jumped nearly £100? (Smaller quantities in small bags)
I don't use ewe nuts any more.

Grass
I’m not a big feeder, start about 10-14 days before lambing beginning of Feb and usually stop in late marich when grass growth takes off. Take it you lamb outside or feed red clover silage, I don’t find much grass in a shed.

Used to lamb indoors mid March, and winter sheared. Fed quite heavy up to lambing, but not after turnout.
Upped my numbers (and breed) and switched to outdoor lambing.

It’s not a bad feed for the price imo for this year. A few cheap fillers in there but most have.Anyone on here know what to look for or to avoid with concentrates? I’m paying £243 for Wynnstay ewemaster supreme 19% (20T over 3 months)

its not a good feed from the ingredients that’s why, fillers near the start better ingredients are way down the list.
I don’t like to see rape so high up there, someone along time ago said it was a very bitter tasting feed. Why has Nwf lost the plot this year? They wouldn’t of got away with putting their prices up ( a month or so before lambing) if we had been dairy farmers.

If nwf keep putting there prices up, l, ll just get Davidsons again, as it a good feed.

I think a maize barley soya Sugarbeet nut feed will be near £300 per tonne now.

Maize spot £230 delivered, barley £175, soya £440ish, sugar beet god knows don’t think you can get it. If you can fix a price do it There’s some big price jumps on their way..
