concrete breaker

I have acquired an old Bosch concrete breaker. I do not know the exact model as all the identification plates are either missing or indecipherable.( and its not fallen off the back of a lorry !)
I assumed it was 110v but it runs very slowly.
The brushes seem to be fine and I cannot find any obvious reason why it runs slowly so I am wondering if it might be one of the 240 v ones that I think they made.
I presume that would make it run faster.
How do I tell and if I experiment by running on 240 v what will happen if its supposed to be 110v?

If you are certain the brushes, transformer and motor windings are OK, then have you looked at the striker, ram and piston to make sure they are free / not binding and lubricated (greased) correctly on the striker inside the head unit?

I have looked at the striker mechanism and it appears to be functioning correctly and with no binding

Are you referring to the piston etc inside the casing (strip down needed), not the tool holder mechanism, as the two are different? If you are then you may need the motor windings checked out if the transformer etc all check out as being correct and working as they are intended?
