Her indoors has demanded that I do something about these minor cracks in the path next to the house. What should I fill them with?

N.B. size 11 boot toe cap for scale.

Mix some concrete with a fine gravel and just stick it in. Gentle brush before it sets. Some moss by next year, you will hardly see it and your high heels will no longer be at risk
It's only a path, not designed for an artic

Most of those are good suggestions thanks.

I was watching an American V-log where someone had a compound that they poured straight in and wondered if anyone knew waht that sort of thing was.

The problem here is that our house is on a raft, the path isn't and so the crack opens and closes as a pass time on this heavy clay.

Would a resin grout fill them ,,the stuff I use for indian sandstone is called Nexus v75,,mix it up till it looks like porridge, wet the surface and pour it in , when it sets it's as hard as concrete

In that case dig it up, 12 inches sub-base, 8 inches of concrete and 2 layers of mesh ;)

Or you could just fill in the cracks

This is one product

Pressure wash the edges of the crack, rinse clean, fill with loose sand, rinse the sand down so it's 3/4" below the surface, let it dry. fill with crack sealer. It will take a little movement.

A more flexible seal would be a foam backer rod stuffed into the crack, and a polyurethane sealant applied in an sideways hourglass shape. Dymonic, NP1, Vulkem 116, Sikaflex are some names here, some of those should translate over there. Some of those companies make a self leveling product that will be a step up from the menards product above.

Minor cracks  if the trouble and strife loses a heel in one of those I would suggest running like hell.

From your description, the best thing would be to break the path and start again, plenty of steel to hold it together and whilst the ground will pull away in a drought the path should stay still. Make sure you've got a expansion joint every few metres and fill it with a mastic compound
