two loads of loose concrete railway sleepers from PE15 8QJ to just south of carlisle.
As the sleepers are loose and not stacked, it will requite a flatbed with strong side supports or at least 3 droppable sides

Are they in a Network Rail yard? If so then just make sure that the haulier, and driver know the protocol for getting stuff out of there.
I've seen drivers turned away for wrong colour high viz clothing or not having lace-up boots

Yes, normally get them out of crew, but price seemed right on these......if I can get them home for reasonable money

I have managed to get these home and possibly have the chance of some more that are the standard length, roughly 8foot. The option is there with these to have them loaded into a bulk tipper wagon using a large excavator with a grab. I have a really good local firm that haul a lot of scrap, but unfortunately never get down to Cambridgeshire. Can anyone recommend some companies that get into that area?

See John Beaty from Penrith round here occasionally but doubt they'd want them in their bulkers.

PJ Thory are a local company but not sure they go that far North.

If you could get them stacked on a flat I'd give you a dozen names that'd do it.
If you google Harrison Tractors his yard is only 2 miles away, he may go and load them for you.
