The steels would be concreted in the ground I'd say at least 1m below floor level.
Why are you putting steels in? Why don't You just make it a concrete structure?

Now I'm confused. I want to put steels in, then use shuttering boards and shutter the walls in in 20ft sections. Same as always done sheds, between legs. Why are you putting steels in? Why don't You just make it a concrete structure?

The steel actually weakens it, creates a join in the concrete, but I'm not sure how else you could shutter it, if you are back filling I would suggest plenty of stone and drainage, not a great deal of pressure from dry earth but when saturated it's a very different matterHow? I don't understand how you would shutter the concrete? Would the steels not give xtra strength?
Gettting close to a main road, so want a small footprint, and liners and sand... if we stick with sand, which most suggest is best for cows. Why not just dig a hole and put a linner in it?

Better views than Newcastle......If you was a bit closer I'd love to do it
Xerion had some good pics on the BFF when they built a circular concrete store,it was all shuttered without girders.
In a the Us they build clamp walls without girders, just keep moving the shutters up.

They use walking shutters in this country as well. Just in this country we seem to be a bit obsessed with using pillars within agriculture that's why walking shutters aren't more common
