After info in square slurry stores, anyone had one built recently?
Did you go for cast in situ, or pre-cast?
Which companies were best value?
Above ground and pump in, or below ground and push slurry in with scraper?
Approx. 2000m3 so 15m x 40m x 3.3m deep as a starting size.
TIA

How are you going to cover your store to prevent the ammonia Loss.
I know I'm stuck record about covers but I'm waiting for someone to give me a sensible option for anything that isn't a round tower.

Has anyone had anything to do with these?
Am considering a earth bank lagoon and they seem to tick a few boxes, will probably contact them in the next few weeks for a price and details.

On the above ground stores, I have no idea how I would fill them. Maize heavy diet and sand bedding, in warm weather it is seriously stiff.

That's the most sensible option I've seen so far.

I wonder what the price is though, bet they're not cheap!

I can see it being emptied, it being "beached" on the banking as they say, then the slurry filling back up over it. It being dried to the side and once its covered and some thick stuff has crept over the edge of the cover and crusted . . . .
