i had it done years ago, and yes it did help. see the bits of wax ( and other stuff :D) in the jug after wards
think you need to put drops in for a few days forst really to soften it up ,well thats what the doctors said back then
putting drops in m,ine now but the roaring /screaming noise hasnt got any less , permanent damge done i guess. wouldve bee n fine of they had done them that last time ,they had run out of money i suppose
I get my ears vacuumed every 4 months.
Sometimes they use water.
Has transformed my hearing.
£80 very well spent

Im driving her to and fro with my old truck atm because her cars crook, and what with the funny things kids say , Shes been asked " does your dad come and pick you up " 😂

Take Vit D cos its a sunshine generated vitamin -most people deficient.
Spend 1hr /day in very good light 3000lux plus.
Maybe B12 defficient? do you drink a lot of alcahol ? depresses B12.....
Good diet -take a walk in the sun and clear your head.
Tell someone you love them ...........(but only if you do -don't just grab the postman..)
I had to walk this morn because the bike back axle wound up severalmetres of fence wire inadvertantly driven over :banghead::mad:
anyway wlked along the bottom and started up the hill ,tbh at that point i just wanted to lay down and stay there indefinatly ,was so exhausted :(
Postman is a Lesbian , not a prob in itself but what is is the fact that shes such a miserable barsteward 😂

Given the constant shyte getting flung at farmers by dicks like goldsmith etc, the pisspoor prices for last twelve months, pisspoor weather, its no wonder farmers are ready for a lie down.
The constant denigration of a great industry is pretty wearing to those who have devoted their entire lives to it.

Some very true words there.

And that’s on top of the woke rubbish degrading Brits, whites, males etc as well.

Lots of reasons mentioned, almost all of them could be valid. There are viruses too. Narcolepsy. Lack of exercise.
One treatment not mentioned is … DRUGS. Some repurposed and some illegal. None of which I have tried. I’m not sure what Ritalin does but do know that many people of all ages and professions take Modafinil to stay alert and maintain concentration. This is called a ‘cognitive enhancer’ but is only licensed in the UK for use against narcolepsy I do believe. It is reputed to be used by airline pilots and medical surgeons and especially higher education student to help them cram information.
I’m not advocating such drugs at all, just mentioning them because I don’t think anyone else has. Another very illegal drug that is suggested to be very effective, especially in treating very severe and persistent depression, is a tiny dose of magic mushroom. Psilocybin. While not addictive, this is illegal and probably dangerous if used unsupervised.

No good for me as i never take drugs not even paracetamol.

And I need Less exercise not more anyone who is a older sheep farmer will know about that .

Nor am I over weight , never have been bmi of 21 something to do with previous sentence I guess, well that and not pigging my face with more food than I need.

Don't drink alcohol these days either because that's nutritionally decrepit

Depression is a distinct possibility, but in the meantime remember this… Click on ‘Watch on YouTube’. [It’s a song by an old man]

Haven't drank alcohol in any meaningful amount in over 2 years now basically. Don't take any regular medications either.

It's the depressive/ mind affecting effects of the Flu that Interesa's me both during but particularly a week or few days before the .recognised. syptoms begin, certainly the way it stops sleep. , not tested but I think it was covid tbh, sense of smell gone totally which is normally very good .
Feeling far better now , slight bad back though through handling fodder beet

This puts ‘viral’ up the possibility stakes significantly. I know what I’d do just in case it works as some suggest.

It's a back ache pain problem that isn't helping now I think there's a spring gone in my arm chair and everytime I cough it grabs and it's like im Bob Fleming and the bloke that says Arse all in one person

no no medications taking for nothing and last time i went to the doc ,hmm 6yreas or so ago , with the idea of getting my hearing /blocked ears particulary the left one , soreted out , the doc toild me they didnt do ear syringing any more and said i ought to get my BP checked on the way out  which was fine .
wont be going back there any day soon.
text the other day about blodd pressure check , but nothing about my left ear which now is pretty much deaf and gives constant noise (tinitus) which has increased gradually since that docs visit and dosnt help a good nights sound sleep , its more like fitful nowadays
Ears are easy, use otex ear drops. If that dosen't shift it high street pharmcy or some opticans

I often wonder if working in constant bad weather for long periods while having a bug is the problem
We are outside usually all daylight hours and bits and pieces through the night it feels as if the weather is a health challenge
Your on to something there. I was working on a fencing project recently and every time I looked at the top of the posts to get a level I would get wind blown frozen rain and sleet in my eyes. I started to feel like sh!t. I quit for the day.

Stress manifests in many different ways to us. Psychical or mental stress is something I am at home with. For me, I manage it but being as active as I can. I know that restarting after even a few days of downtime is harder for me to get going. It helps me immensely that I find my work challenging and that makes me want to learn more. That is fun to me. Plus I get to be outside everyday enjoying the day.

We’ve been constantly feeding sheep on hill or moorland working with them in pens and on with cattle, although the cattle are inside it’s not been that warm especially if you are frozen and wet off feeding sheep. It’s likely to have some effect
