Got a 3m kverneland stubble cultivator with very wide shares on it
Is there a good narrow point to make it into a subsoiler to work at
about 10 inches or do I need a separate machine

I don't think any cultivator will turn into a subsoiler, it will always be a compromise, the legs are very different shapes. But yes there are bound to be narrower points you can use to work deeper. Or you can take wings and frogs off?

Thanks James.
Yes it can be done but you will need new legs.
This is a teradisk auto reset I did working on a compacted headland, it has 9 legs working 10" deep behind a 200hp tractor.

This is what I tried, in order to remove a tight layer deeper than we'd normally be able to work with the wings on (9" vs 5"). It wasn't ideal but did do the job, though took a huge amount of power even with less than half the width of steel in the ground.

From memory, you shouldn't go deeper than 6x point width e.g. 50mm points at max 30cm deep. Any deeper than that and you'll create excessing lateral compaction.

Yes get the bourgault speedloc adaptors on then fit the st pro edge points, will work at 10”. Don’t bother with the sweeps get the one with the shark fin up the middle.
