Converting 750a from 3m to 4m

I was wandering about converting Clive's 4m to a 3 m drill. Lot cheaper than new and plenty of spares but it seems a bit sacrilegious. Maybe Will should drop his box drill at mine on the way to Clive's to pick up Andy's who gets a return load and takes Clive's 4 m back to Kent. Just need to find a buyer for my Kuhn SD near Clive's and it's logistically perfect.

Anyone wanting mine best be quick - I have a fair bit of serious intrest so suspect it will sell this week !

No reason at all a 4m couldn't be run as a 3m as far as I know, just unbolt the wings

now, I don't know why I should ever cut down a 4 m drill to 3 m? It's 25% less drilling, tighter turning, ok all have now RTK on their tractors anyway.
Also, why be bothered about tramlines? I don't know of a single No Till farmer over here which drills with tramlines. As drilling direction is altered almost every drilling and tramlines stay in place. So who cares if a drill matches the tramline outline?
Clive, I would not sell the drill tooo quick as prices will increase. As demand is outperforming supply. :) Also this drill is worth a fair bit of TFF bonus on top of it.

They are certainly a safe place to park capital ! But it has to go as I need more capacity in the future, a 6m will probably replace it

On Thursday 26th September, we’re holding a webinar for farmers to go through the guidance, actions and detail for the expanded Sustainable Farming Incentive (SFI) offer. This was planned for end of May, but had to be delayed due to the general election. We apologise about that.

Farming and Countryside Programme Director, Janet Hughes will be joined by policy leads working on SFI, and colleagues from the Rural Payment Agency and Catchment Sensitive Farming.

This webinar will be...
