I know many of you here detest what RethinkX say, but if you go to this link and scroll down until you get to the map, you will see how GB uses its land (and overseas land) for all the different purposes that are needed:

This is absolute rubbish, trying to pretend that destroying farming in the UK will have any effect on the planet is naive & totally wrong.
Stop imports from Brazil, tell consumers to buy less from China, these two things alone would do more for the planet then putting every farmer in the UK out of business, far too much dishonesty is bandied around as pretend facts by eco nuts these days!!

I just thought you might be interested in the map showing all the different land uses and how much area they take up.

I'm surprised you could be bothered replying to that.

What a load of utter rubbish.

As has been pointed out many times by many others. Importation of products from overseas is paid for in the majority for direct human consumption - such as Soya.

Waste products from such human consumption is recycled by the agricultural industry. The truth is those who THINK they are being Environmental and Green have destroyed agricultural crops in the UK destined for animals because those waste products are CHEAPER than growing crops.

Humans - which in the majority are Vegan, Green or Environmental - are driving the habitat loss in the Amazon.

The same thing happens in the UK with Oilseed Rape. Crops are grown for the humans which eat Oilseed Rape Oil. The waste product is used in the livestock industry because it's cheaper than crops.

How about telling the truth ?

Skipped through comments but will someone stand up and say the number 1 threat to the world is a constant growing population, there will be a point when its just not sustainable. Any policy on some kind of policy to stop population growth would be political career suicide tho. What can they do tax children? Incentives not to have children? A mass cull? Maybe theres a way but i cant see it.

China brought in a 1 child edict with sterilisation as a punishment for those who resisted.

China recently raised the limit to 2 children and again to 3 children.

My prediction is that whatever COP26 comes out with, the BBC and Roger Harrabin in particular will report that we should vastly reduce red meat consumption.
I expect that their summarising of COP26 has already been written, filmed and edited.
of course, you could look at that and think, if everybody (or most people) gives up meat and eats ultra processed food instead, they will all individually be doing their bit towards #128 as their, and their Children's life expectancy will vastly reduce! I have also read that mothers who are overweight in pregnancy cause changes in the foetus, which carry on through generations (they are not sure if it can ever be changed back) so all future generations have a reduced life expectancy and health outcomes too.

Natural slection innit. It'll do for us in the end. Our IQ has been steadily declining imo for a couple of decades at least now. Everything's about the thickest among us having the most influence these days.

Britain has been a nation of jawless, beta, accountants for the last 100 years. Anyone with decent genes left for colonial adventures. FML even our kings in waiting are poor specimens of humanity.

How far are we going back? Romans, vikings? We are all imported at some point

You do realsie that both the examples you gave do not appear in most DNA samples ? Not an argument anyway as the Royal family bred between Royal families for political reasons - they are not representative of the UK people at all.
