Cordless clippers

Wanting to buy a set of cordless clippers. What's the best value for money clippers. Is there any clippers that use a milwaukee battery. Any down sides.

I'd have the handy piece over the longhorn one, they have a lithium battery rather than the old type.

Welsh Shearing Centre do one. I bought it in early summer. Very handy for cleaning dirty arses etc. Got 2 batteries.

You really want corded. None of the self contained battery pack clippers are up to that. They get shitty and the motor stops/overheats.

Use the Welsh Shearing cordless sheep shears to trim cattle arses and tails. Does a good job, not quite as clean as a cattle clippers but pretty good.

The Heiniger cordless clippers do that job for us, battery seems to last nearly forever.

Had them a few years, had wanted a set of cordless with a sheep clipper head but there were none available back then. Recently got a set the same as sheepman, far superior to the heiniger at dirty tails and half the price. See the clips have broke of one of the battery packs tho

+1 for the Welsh shearing cordless shears. Got mine at the start of marking in the spring and have clipped hundreds of dirty backsides. Handy and very well balanced. Only downside maybe the build quality, as they are made in China, but so far all good

Same here, I think it's because it was bouncing around in a toolbox on the front of a quad
