My old boss would have had a hissy fit if the weights were left on and that was when they were individual ,,after 14x 45kg and a 63 kg center ,you didnt want to be putting them back on in hurry .

At the risk of being shot down I’ve always found front axle suspension a little more effective with an extra couple hundred kg’s on the front, and if conditions are a bit inclement it does no harm in helping front tyres grip a little.
Trouble is majority have only one weight block. It's all or nothing

Had trelleborg out weighing a few things the other day, he was saying that for trailer work it should have a bit of weight on, you're adding 3 ton to the hitch when loaded so want something to balance it out.

I have got lazy and leave ours on now For barely more than 2 afternoons chasing and never more than half a mile from the shed, I will save my back from manhandling 50kg slices.

Have you not got a loader so you can leave them bolted together and lift off and on with a lifting strap
