I've been using £10 rechargeable clippers for years now. No3 comb up the back and sides, and No4 for the whispy bits over the top. Every 8 weeks or so.
I usually miss a bit somewhere, but often it's not obvious, and if it is, it's easy to clip it when someone points it out!
I just make a start with the clippers and the mrs trys to make it look presentable ,As i tell her i cant see it unless i have a mirror .
