I know we're possibly looking for the impossible but if you don't ask you don't get, so thought this was worth a try. This forum was really helpful when I was looking for grazing a few years ago so here I am again.
Like most people covid has made us re look at our lives. We don't want to continue living in a town on top of other people and escaping to our little field to get away from it all we'd le to combine the 2. Our little 'smallholding' (if you can call it that) is doing well and its something we really enjoy. We have a couple of sheep, some ex battery hens and some rare breed turkeys, we grow veg at home.
We are looking for a little cottage (farm cottage potentially) with a couple of acres that we can rent as a whole instead of renting 2 separate properties.
We both work and have good incomes and can provide references. Our kids are all grown up so no children and no house pets.
We thought potentially that a local farmer could benefit from the regular income of monthly rent and possibly a helping hand when we can.
We are looking in Dorset as thats where family and work is.
