Thought same when he got excited about few quid acre payment then gave us the punchline at the end of his sermon ...

Exactly my thoughts! I’ve always enjoyed his programs read his autobiography, but the awd b**ger has lost a bit of respect for being a hypocrite regarding meat and travel

His point about livestock farming is that of land use. Brazil is being deforested to grow soya for Chinese pigs. Other parts of the world are doing the same to grow palm oil.

I think it's more a question of realisation than blame. Mixed farming in a climate like ours is not so damaging. I doubt he has ever claimed otherwise. I'm sure though, he would advocate more space being devoted to nature.

I can't get angry with him. He makes a reasonable argument and I don't believe he's anti farmer.

Flying around the world 40 or even 20 years ago was not the concern it is now.
