Same goes for most media tbh, not just BBC. They tell the story they want the viewer to hear, not necessarily the truth.
Can't you sue them for damages tho? If they tell lies about you and your animals?

Almost as dangerous as taking 25' sky dives off a roof without a parachute!!
When they have new calves I can understand it, but not having to open the gate and hide behind it when letting them out to graze
Did you? I really think the public need to find out what happens if you don't use farrowing crates IMOThought the pig bit was very good. There are some bison farmed locally - and yes you need to know what you are getting into!
Really, is Scotland harsher than some of the places the live in North America? You never seen the documentaries about them in Yellowstone?..... There were some up in Scotland but they couldn't survive the harsh conditions up there...
Why would anyone want to farm bison? Who wakes up and thinks “I really want to keep an animal that wants to kill me” bloody crackers

No! Don't admit to anything!!Um...
a wild boar wouldve killed you if he was mind to ....Um...
I wouldn't be at all surprised if that was filmed out of sequence.
1. Film bit in field about deer and "where shall we hide"
2. Film ending bit
3. Go back to yard
4. Let bison out
5. Follow bison to field and shut gate after them.
Doesn't quite have the same edginess though.
Wouldn't be surprised, after all Tom Heap walked past a butchers stall on Cambridge Market and one second later arrived at a different butchers stall on Driffield market. Can't work out why he ever needed to be on Cambridge Market as he didn't interview anyone and didn't even mention where he was.
That does,nt sound like the BBC, to only give us one side of the storey.Maybe they did the same “stunt” at Cambridge market and it didn’t get the desired result, so they moved to Driffield instead.
The editors didn’t think anyone would notice if they merged footage of the Cambridge scene was the one they wanted to portray.
Artistic licence...!
Shows that journalism isn’t so much about *facts* as it likes to portray itself as. It’s actually just selling you one side of a story but making you think it’s the universal truth.
Agreed. An interesting feature for onceInteresting showing leather production
Nothing personal, but I tend to agree about her presenting skills. I think Countryfile is the wrong platform for her - more the one show type reporter I’d sayAre you joking? She gets on my wick, easily the most annoying of the presenters imo
