Just getting fed up of changing the payment info on my online banking every month. Why did CW buy this in the first place? What are they doing? Do they have any idea?

I'm afraid this is what happens to all farmer owned coops in the end. I dont know why.
Run by old fools. Mole will go the same way if not carefull, very few sucessfull companies keep ceo, md for years but change to get new drive and ideas, farm coops seem to keep them till either they or the firm dies

I have shares perhaps a windfall (I wish). Never that impressed with CW - they dont stock enough and when you order (a while ago organic layers) 2 - 3 weeks delivery absolute joke! Usual barron cheap crap store little passion put in. No one answers the phone, no answerphone message! Im sure the business could work if there was more effort. I use Hay & Brecon for local stuff find them good and its well organised. Again though takes a week to order and in this day and age you can get on the net and have it delivered to your door next day.

I've struggled with CW staff. Last year they had a pile of beef feed troughs by the gate marked special price. I went in and asked for the price - got the answer "A what?". No I didn't want a water trough, a chicken trough or a horse feed bucket. In the end I went back to the gate, took the label off the trough and handed it to the shop assistant. Totally clueless.

We just went to Salisbury to look at the CW store which opened fairly recently, only to find it empty and abandoned :( So we went over to the Mole store instead. All getting a bit garden centre-ish though.

They shut Market Harborough and Melton Market stores early March, apparently they were closing 14 (don't quote me on that) lowest performing stores..
As said above the staff on the whole in my local store were garbage...

We have both CCF and Wynnstay branches in our local town and in most other towns in the region. Have to say the staff are on the whole excellent in every outlet and the competition is a very good thing for customers. However I'm not sure there's enough business for both of them, especially in small towns like Aberystwyth or Tregaron. Surely they can't carry on like this long term?

They closed that store a while ago. Shocking coustomer service - tried to order a boiler suit for an employee & they lost the order 4 times. Got the manager to order it the last time and they still fudged that up. I'd say good riddance but I hate seeing a co-op disappear. Mole Valley are pricey but have a few good staff from the old SCATS days.

Our local mole in Wickham is pretty good tbh, local rep is a farmers daughter and knows her stuff! Some stuff is pretty well priced in there but other are most definitely not in my eyes!
