a) Undersowing cover crops into growing maize
b) drilling maize into cover crops
c) drilling cover crops into maize stubble

Growing crop , sorry didn’t make it clear!

We tried undersowing with ryegrass. Here in the East it is unreliable as drilling and rainfall timing are critical. Some years it works, some not so we now put in a rye cover crop after maize harvest. We try to get finished by first week of October so can get the rye established.
