Raith was the last memorable one on the market since Sandyford and Myremill. Other blocks such as Auchincruive would have made a great green field site. Farms like Attiquin not dairying at moment but will return into dairying in the future. Quite a few 200 acre units have sold. Usual private deals too.

Remember Raith being on unreal unit!! Is it still dairy? Got cows from cruive is a crime there’s not a dairy somewhere there.

Raith is being farmed really well by a hard working Irish farmer.

I’d forgotten that they were selling today. Shame they didn’t seem to want anyone to actually take it as a going concern. I was quietly pleased to see the council say they won’t be likely to approve development on it in the near future though.

Certainly his company has so it’s safe to assume he’s involved along the line. Cows are listed as a sale of Leo Sawrij Ltd so seems he’s bought to lot just to sell up anyway. Shame!

Seems a man that owns a local business, and very much into pedigree stock by all accounts, but don't think he will be milking.
Could end up being a bit of a show farm
