Dairy farmers entitled to £10k under new rules

With the current oversupply of milk being a real challenge & cause for concern for those supplying businesses who can't open, it's good to see the government offering a helping hand.

Those eligible will be entitled to up to £10,000 each, to cover 70% of their lost income during April and May to ensure they can continue to operate and sustain production capacity without impacts on animal welfare.

If anyone needs any assistance with their finance or funding, let me know.

It is being discussed quite a lot in the dairy farming section of this forum.

As yet, no equivalent aid has been announced for Scotland or Wales, or N. Ireland as far as I am aware.
