If it's as you say you could scratch that with a tine Harrow and get a seedbedTrouble is i normally have a cunning plan but this time i actually don't , not a complete one anyway
no discs these days, got an 8ft twose vibratiller .Got a spring tine? Or disc Harrow?
I normally like to leave it a week to 10 days to die off thoroughlyHow soon after pasture is rounduped do people drill, field has been mown and allowed to just green up,first time attempt so don't want any mistakes,it will be drilled with turnip/rape mix with a Weaving GD
When drilling summer forage crops do you all put slug pellets on as routine or do you have little bother with slugs.
You can spray after seeding if you want , miss the rain you be kicking yourselfHow soon after pasture is rounduped do people drill, field has been mown and allowed to just green up,first time attempt so don't want any mistakes,it will be drilled with turnip/rape mix with a Weaving GD
whats clamp saver 2 @NFI ?Needless to say I am a brassica novice.
This was pp sprayed off and dd with a Horsch drill with Clampsaver 2 a month ago. 4 acres. Not sure what’s gone wrong. Has had lime but no fert (luckily). It did come up in the gateway and then disappeared as you go into the field. A friend says it possibly went in too deep. For plan B I’ve got some redstart but reluctant to use the same drill.
Thoughts please.
Field options: Forage rape. Ryegrass. Berseem clover.whats clamp saver 2 @NFI ?
