I was talking about the general population not the MPs, although i reckon 90% will get re-elected as you "blue" folks will have to vote for whatever "gatepost" is put up.
Don’t think so,most remainer mps won’t stand this time

Totally agree,Europe red lines over free movement of people have caused the problems ,if only they had changed their red lines when Cameron asked we would not be in the position we are now
Why should we give up our rights cos you don't like them. There are millions of Brits who have used those rules to live and start businesses and build lives over here. We pay tax, just as the EU citizens do in the UK, most are working and contributing.
You want to leave the club, why should 27 other countries change just for you?
Cameron negotiated 'no benefits for 7 years' from the EU, on top of what you already had
( no shengen, no euro etc) it was the best membership terms of any of the 28 countries.

Just pointing out that some seem to think it’s okay for the eu to have red lines but not for the uk

Why make the red line of NOT staying in the customs union UNTIL a deal is finalised?
Really would have been much simpler.
Also, if the government had spent the time after the election forming a consensus before triggering A50 you would probably had a much better deal on the table.
Instead its a typical UK shambles.
My mrs went on a TB control course yesterday, Came home and said " I know why Brexit is a shambles, they used UK bovine TB control as the model for Brexit negotiations"
nearly spat my coffee!

'EU intransigence'? You're having a laugh. It was totally clear from the start what is and isn't possible. Hint: No non-member gets the same or better deal than a member. Not too difficult to understand, unless you're a typical Brit exceptionalist with an obsession with WW2, Triumphs and BMC, strawberries and cream - along with crap B&B, rubbish catering, useless public transport. I could go on.
You do go on. Perhaps you should go and live somewhere else where you will be happy.

i think its pretty clear now the deadline will be extended, what else can they do , the EU know that no deal is off the table the remainers have more or less told them so, they are going to drag it out as long as they can, make is so difficult a that in the end we wont leave, thats their plan
I think you’re right. I really don’t see TM leaving with no deal! This will “kill” her and the Tories for a long long time. There isn’t a credible opposition from the Labour benches who are in turmoil like the Tories. To leave without some kind of deal is irresponsible in the world we live in unfortunately. The UK isn’t a world empire anymore, so let’s not think “stiff upper lip” and “off we go”. The world has moved on.

...There are millions of Brits who have used those rules to live and start businesses and build lives over here...

Now, now, that lie was put to bed during the Referendum campaign. The last definite figures for the number of UK citizens living in the EU was 900,000; the highest recent estimate (UN ) is 1.3m. There are between 3.7m Europeans living in the UK.

Below is the relevant graphic from your link... and, guess what, it starts its small print, with an official figure. It then goes on to extrapolate and, unapologetically, use its own estimates to quadruple the figure, and then backtracks... :ROFLMAO: It doesn't give a categorical number anywhere, just 'between', 'could', 'if', 'estimate'...

It even contradicts itself by headlining 3.6m and then, in the smaller print, saying that it estimates there could be 'two to three times' the official figure i.e. a max of 2.4m...! :banghead: Of course they are correct, 2,4m is between 1.8m and 3.6m, but it is also between 2.3m and 2.5m, and between 1 and 10m! And, anyway, it's all estimates and guesses, not fact. They are a bit thick, just the sort of people I am glad to see on the case - you're not one of them are you...

The number of Europeans resident in the UK is know and is fact. Use the method that your chosen idiots employ and it 'could' be >10m. (y)

I understand that, but the Tory party are hardly stupid enough to deselect MPs pushing them into leaving the party?
Why not? If the majority of the members want a policy to be carried out but the person who can deliver it deceides he not going to do it even though they were elected on the platform of doing it,what other opinion do they have
