Deutz agrotron starter/solenoid wiring config

Trying to change out the starter on my agrotron m600, it’s proving a real pain as it’s behind the loader mount. I notice there are a total of 4 wires going to the solenoid (that piggybacks on the starter unit) 2 heavy duty cables and 1 medium cable all connected to the same terminal on the solenoid and one light cable on the the small screw lug which I presume is the signal wire from the ignition key. I understand one of the large cables is for the battery supply connection but what purpose are other 2. They are hard to trace as it’s a bit of a rats nest of cables and tight space.

One is feed from battery, other is either feed from alternator or a feed to the main fuse box. The third could be to a plug on the back for baler etc if it doesn’t look original or if it is original its as above a feed to fuses or from alternator

Cheers, thanks for your answer, one more question if I may. 1 of the 3 main bolts that mounts the starter to the engine block is difficult to get to (obviously the one at the back) would it be an idea to remove the 2 long bolts that run the length of the entire starter, on the outside, with a view to remove part of the starter and the piggy backed solenoid which would give easier access to the back mounting bolt. Is it feasible to partially disassemble the starter while in situ in this manner?

I wouldn’t try to disassemble it in situ or the brushes etc will become dislodged. Can you get a cranked apanner or crow foot or uj socket onto the bolt head. Do the awkward one first with the others reasonably tight to hold the starter in place

Again, thanks. That’ll be the plan for tomorrow morning, get the 3 mounting bolts off starting with the back (difficult) one. It’s the sprayer tractor and I need to get the barley sprayed off.
