Thats only a problem if your trying to sow a rough old seed bed!!!!!!!

anyway mustn't dawdle ....got 'break even' sheep to check and if i'm not careful i'll miss the sleet😭😭

i am worried now 😁

just out of interest/theory......for you and 'lord lower the tone' (robbie)😁

i'm twice the distance that you are from beet factory....not such good road either...i'm quoted £960 for 29t load fodder beet delivered

how does that compare to an adjusted load of beet you get delivered to factory? factoring delivery allowance which i supposed you'd need to double?

Sounds reasonable really? I pay ~£150 for a twenty mile trip so its £800 for the beet which is ~£27.5 for the beet. Obviously lots more than we are paid but reasonable compared to barley etc? Especially as your haulage could be nearer £250 cos you need to add cleaner loading 🤷‍♂️

Bloody lord lower the tone!!!!!😯 I was being good and behaving myself as it was the Sabbath!!!!!!!!

When I looked the other day my beet were coming to between 575 and 600 quid a load(for the half decent ones the factory's didn't f##k me over on)🙄 haulage allowance is, I think 140 quid on top for s 26 mile haul. I think my man charges me £4.25 ton haulage.

On Thursday 26th September, we’re holding a webinar for farmers to go through the guidance, actions and detail for the expanded Sustainable Farming Incentive (SFI) offer. This was planned for end of May, but had to be delayed due to the general election. We apologise about that.

Farming and Countryside Programme Director, Janet Hughes will be joined by policy leads working on SFI, and colleagues from the Rural Payment Agency and Catchment Sensitive Farming.

This webinar will be...
