HMmm....could be on to something there 'amy the accountant'....'thetford forest secretarial and ancillary services' :scratchhead:

back to my 'horse ploughing'.....i've a 3 furrow plough and travel at 6km/hr averaging 1.1ac/hr......field was 11ac so took ne 10 hrs.....trouble was getting those 10hrs is an effort by the time i've looked after admiral....fettled sheep (though checking is K principle job)......dealt with any nags....or other issues.......i managed 1/2hr wednesday....4hrs thursday/friday and 1 1/2 hrs sat to finish

my day starts between 7-8 am......admiral is 1 1/2 hours morning....other stuff can fill in gap til 11am.....if lucky i can get 2hrs in field before lunch...i stop for an hour and can fall asleep.....2pm back out but have to knock off 4pm to settle admiral (3:30 if i'm offsite).......finish at 5pm by which time i'm often to knacked to carry on......unless baling/harvesting/lambing etc......i also have to try to keep 'summat in tank' cos i never know if admiral going to have an episode in night....this is 7 days a week

i don't read farming press ...it demoralises me.....supermen farmers doing this/that...output/yield......i have nothing in common with them ....this isn't a 'poor me' post as i suspect there are a good many with similar/worse issues to me
And your writing career, your an artieeest daaaahrling!

I am glad it’s not just me that can’t get more than a few hours at one job with out being disturbed by the needs of something or someone! When these lads have to keep as many balls rolling at the same time that we do they will understand!

I always thought our Spin had got his monicker from some sort of 'washing machine' incident but now I realise it's from keeping 'all those plates up in the air'.

i've went back to bed and have overslept:banghead:

you blame 'auto correct' for everything...i might try it :scratchhead: .....'sorry my tax return is late...the auto correct went wrong'

all proper farmers know 'wavy ploughing' increases surface area😗....and you could pull a wooden spoon through your dirt and get a seedbed😁

If the ploughings done right I don't even need the wooden spoon👌 not convinced about the increased surface area idea either😂🤔 next you'll be telling me it's not level to get more weather on it and the hog troughs at the ends and on the scoots are some special SNOT deterrent!!!!!!!😂😂😂😂😂
