Entering the murky world of digger bucket pins.
I've got the long term borrow of this.

But it only comes with 3' bucket.

Fine for clearing gateways ready for stone but no good at a 12" trench for 200 metres.
45mm pins. 390mm centre to centre on pins and forgot to measure boom width.
Are these same as 3CX, which would be very handy?
No point having a quick hitch and only one bucket.

That looks like a handy thing .York sale next week theirs usually a few in go along with a tape measure
Can sort it before then but just picking the brains on here.

I have a spec sheet for all the loader/telescopic brackets, but just looking for similar for diggy stuff.
Looks like 3cx might fit, but not on the quick hitch. :banghead::banghead:

last time I wanted one for our 50hx I ended up buying a good bucket with the right pin size but wrong spacing then just cut the brackets off and welded back on at the width to suit

You could drop the Q/H and use 3cx buckets but they don’t really work on a Ford or NH! The pin centres are too close together therefore the geometry doesn’t really work and you loose a lot of digging power! Have a 9” JCB bucket here that will struggle with stones in a trench at certain positions! Using the two or three foot proper bucket with two sets of link hole pins will either move the stone or pull the digger in!!

As it's a hydraulic hitch, it might take variable pin centres!?
But probably will be to wide for 3cx buckets.
We have an old bucket of a ford 550 and 3cx picks it up, but is slack width wise.

@Nearly I have a good selection of NH buckets that you're welcome to borrow. Ryan Cole has a load of one's on his site also. Tidy machine that.
Thanks for the kind offer but I'll try and get a cheap couple of buckets as it adds to the machine.
I'll probably spend as much as I would hiring a 5t 360 to do the job.
I've messaged RC and I'm going into the wilds north of Darlington next week anyway. :nailbiting:
I'll probably swap the link to the back pin on the quick hitch to get more digging power too.

Now it's rapidly turning into a workshop project but I'll carry on here.

Availability and price for NH wheel stud 85808260 2 of for Carraro axle?
440-128.jpg

It's missing a couple, which always looks bad.

Edit - NH want £30 - each, plus nuts.
Would an M16 nut and bolt, straight through, look better or worse than no stud? :sneaky:
