Digger Upgrade

EX60 has fallen through, guy just rang to see he sold it to someone else yesterday!! So the search is back on FFS

Sounds good, there’s nothing wrong with the EX60.

Just curious; the machine you bid for isn’t on here is it -www.proctorplantsales.com .I suspect they’d give priority to dealer bids.

Don't think any of those machines were in the auction, def not the one I bid on anyway.

Thanks for the suggestions, they have been online for some time now. I am pretty sure about what I’m after - mono boom, long dipper, blade and steel tracks. The search continues..

Well the adventure has finally drawn to a close, looked at 11 diggers in total and had 2 bought and eventually ended up with this. 2007 Cat 308C CR, steel tracks with rubber blocks, blade, mono boom, long dipper, hydraulic quick hitch and on board refuelling pump. Got speaking to the previous owner who traded it in a couple of months ago and he assured me it was sold for no fault and never let him down. I wasn’t struck on the Compact Radius as I was worried it would make her nod a bit, but previous owner tells me she is very planted and now I’m actually quite taken with the short tail as could be handy in certain situations.

Only 1 problem is she tracks to the left after he fitted a new track motor, anyone know if this can be adjusted out? It’s worse on slow speed, not as bad on high speed

Health to enjoy, looks a tidy machine. The new track motor probably tracks at a different speed compared to the original. This happened when we put a new one on our 3 tonner, so we adjusted the track levers to compensate for it

My 307 pulls left a little when on high speed tracking, I’ve never bothered but the levers are adjustable I think.

On Thursday 26th September, we’re holding a webinar for farmers to go through the guidance, actions and detail for the expanded Sustainable Farming Incentive (SFI) offer. This was planned for end of May, but had to be delayed due to the general election. We apologise about that.

Farming and Countryside Programme Director, Janet Hughes will be joined by policy leads working on SFI, and colleagues from the Rural Payment Agency and Catchment Sensitive Farming.
