I've seen couple comments on fb feeds.
'Oh poor thing looks scared to death', wanted to get back in box with its mates
'Why is he hitting it with a stick', poked its face to turn it around

We get abuse on faceache for the fact we run a farm with livestock. Even had an abusive phone call for putting up a banner advertising our Lambing Sunday event earlier this year opposite the local school (which is also where our land starts). The sign was also defaced by “animal rights” individuals.

FB does have an appeal system. I think the moderators are just that with no specialist knowledge or training. FB also uses 'bots' which I gather are alorithms and software to automatically pick up on posts or pages that breach their rules. Always worth raising concerns. As my father would have said, if you don't complain, how do the managers know when things are not done properly?

I posted looking for a home for an old stallion. FB blocked it. I appealed. The advert was reinstated and the horse has since been rehomed. Those who don't ask, don't get.
