To be honest i wouldn't say theres much difference, its still a big vehicle, wife has an X5 and it would leave the disco standing going round the bends. What are they like on the road
I’ve a RR S now and thinking of changing soon I’ve got my name down on a Defender but could change it for a Disco 5 . Swap things around a bit and sell run around use RRS for work and keep Disco for best letting and let Mrs use it she liked the Disco 4 more than RRSNo complaints here, no, they’re not going to handle like a car but streets ahead of the D4, handles very much like a RRS
Don’t really need to tow but you never knowBetter to drive than disco 4 .306hp is the engine to have
Get heavy duty adjustable tow bar.
Hse spec great
There different types of big 4x4s .To be honest i wouldn't say theres much difference, its still a big vehicle, wife has an X5 and it would leave the disco standing going round the bends.
Exactly, discovery more of an all rounder, although it's not the best off road on standard tyres. There different types of big 4x4s .
Top gear did a review on 4x4s and the crux of it was x5 q7/8 Porsche 4x4 thing etc are cars built for the road with a limited off road capability whereas Land Rover build off road cars which are very capable on road.
RRS would be more of a match up to the X5
I specced mine with the Dynamic Stability Control, not a clue how it works but its meant to firm up the suspension similar to the RRS on the roadI’ve a RR S now and thinking of changing soon I’ve got my name down on a Defender but could change it for a Disco 5 .
