DIY plastic sheep troughs?

It's a bit wet for ewe rolls still, so I need to knock some troughs up, and wondering about making them from twin wall drainage pipe. Is 225mm (8") suitable, or does it need 300mm for stability and allow sheep both sides?

You can get ready made plastic ends you just push on to cut twin wall to make troughs
JFC make them

Might be a wait on them though

Not seen just the ends! I know they do the ready made troughs. But only seem to have the 300mm at Dealers, so they are costly. :)
Tight arse farmers R Us

As you say tough to get hold of, post Brexit....

I got them from mole valley but they were ordered in from JFC
The ends would probably out last several changes of the twin wall pipe

Farming and Countryside Programme Director, Janet Hughes will be joined by policy leads working on SFI, and colleagues from the Rural Payment Agency and Catchment Sensitive Farming.

This webinar will be...
