Well the mystery has been solved! My RB26 never had the pressure valve fitted to work the brake lights. So only 3 years without them🤪
They did send the parts out and it’s now been sorted.

But still waiting for the mods for the steps to the engine bay etc to be done 😐

Is it legal to send out a vehicle from the factory without all lights working?

I would guess that the point would be with out a brake peadle no braking had taken place so they would / could argue that they were all working, my rb 25 has no brake lights but must be legal on the road or approved for road use.

How quick does it slow down... thinking of the car behind here?

I'm curious as to why the difference.
Some people like to stand on the independent brakes to turn a combine at the ends.
Combines also have final drives and half shafts to hang a brake assembly on, perhaps much more difficult to achieve with SP. I know parking brake is built into rear motor assy, but unlikely to be man enough for hauling machine to a halt. I *think* the bigger Househams do have foot brake? but unsure of system operation.
As an aside, I bet there are plenty of Lexions that nobody uses the brakes ever, due to their propensity for the calipers to seize.... and then lock on🔥..
