Do we miss bravo and opus?

Guess
The companies fon't ban they just mount no defense of generics as no money to be made.
Quite frankly if you want to accept the endocrine disrupter nonsense then you could ban every chem we use by finding similar pretend risks.
:banghead: ! I think your coming from a position of no knowledge. ED nonsense!!! Every chemical that fails the end points for ED is being banned, and not just in agchem.

No. Both still available in Canada. Epoxy is relatively newly released. Some still see tilt as cutting edge technology as regards fungicides. Different climate here fir the most part

Wouldn't be surprised. They have access to some chemicals the UK has never heard of. Same in some parts of Europe, where they certainly had access to some maize and beet herbicides that I'd never seen or heard of in the UK- bigger marketplace means more companies will pay the money to get their products registered and keep them registered for longer.

I don't think for one second CTL's commercial position had much bearing on CRD's position on it. Loads of older chemistry was lost because no one would spend the money to get the work done and get them re-registered.

being cynical was it because new chemistry had better commercial margins,

Not totally sure but I think you can. Little use fir it here with roundup being a cheap alternative. generic RU at 7$ a litre for 540 gram and a sure kill on everything takes some beating.
some new chemistry here that I believe you will be getting soon. Mirivas ??
I think few chemicals get banned here because cropping practices vary so much between farms that overuse doesn’t seem to be an issue. It will come with herbicides first and be driven by resistance weeds.

But re-registering this stuff costs them money. And if they aren't selling that much of the stuff as a company, why would they bother?
I under stand that but has it been designed to cost a fortune so people dont bother ! who decides what the re reg figures should be and should they be so high if the product is still safe and working.(and I mean really safe )
