Dog names

Currently have Jess , Nell, glen , spot , Roy , all collies and storm a kelpie other half want to get a lab called peanut don't know why , a old boy once told me to name a dog the same as your wife so you can curse her and then say you were talking to the dog
 
Wife wanted me to call current collie Elvis. I am NOT going into a field and yelling'Elvis where are you!!!!!' We called him Trevor a good honest working name . Other dogs Rosie,Dereck,Peggy,Ben,Biddy

Currently, smelly nelly(or stink), archibald henery smythe,elsa pup, stumpy- sunday names are Nell, Archie,Elsa,Alfie.

Had Bess, Bella, Emma,Dee,Hun dog.

I grew up with a collie called 'pup' cause my grand father never bothered giving her any other name. I like it

Currently have Queen, Sweep, Cap, Sam, Fflos, Meg, Cadi, jack, gyp, Bella, Jess and Cymro plus a couple of pups without names yet.

Have had Bob, Lad, Max, Roy and Rocky the terrier.

Working dogs should always have single syllable names IMHO.

that's a lot of dogs! also agree single syllable names so when you call them its short and sharp

Are they all working dogs GTB? That's plenty---

I like to have 2 for my 900 ewes ---upped numbers to 3 at the moment as #2 isn't brilliant and #1 will start to fade at some stage :(

Well as always one or two are past it, one or two are useless and a few young 'uns coming through. One Lurcher and one Terrier etc
