I lifted 200 acres with mine last year. Was just curious if there where many others still in use.

Fine plume of grass out of that . You'd need your wits about you , chancing a sward size into that size harvester .

I've never seen one , either working or static , despite being of an age to been around when they were new .

Completely off topic , what brand are your new front tyres on the MF ?

That was a 30ft sward. In reality it’s probably abit much as u can’t take your eye off the reel.

Tyres are ceats. Put a full set on Massey last year. Very pleased with them so far!

A titan 190 is a fairly rare machine?

30 fts!!! God loves a tryer , but hates a chancer.

I was wondering were they CEATs . That's why I asked. I ordered a pair of them in 420/70 x 24s today . Local tyre lad says that they are doing well .

taken along time ago probably mid 80s I’d just revived the JF after it had stud a few years

We had one here the same, it was the first machine I bought truth be told. We had been away from the DIY grass for awhile, the last machine was a worn out Kidd Double chop.

Our 80 was extremely clean, it had a taller spout and electric control, a lower front in the trailer was not necessary.

It had done nothing for 8 or 9 years and had been stored in a Nissen Hut.

They took in grass so well they were hard on themselves IMO The top roller could let too much through.

Great little blower though.

On Thursday 26th September, we’re holding a webinar for farmers to go through the guidance, actions and detail for the expanded Sustainable Farming Incentive (SFI) offer. This was planned for end of May, but had to be delayed due to the general election. We apologise about that.

Farming and Countryside Programme Director, Janet Hughes will be joined by policy leads working on SFI, and colleagues from the Rural Payment Agency and Catchment Sensitive Farming.

This webinar will be...
