Yes that is the last resort. I wanted it to be a bit poshera careful squidge of spray foam could sort that, Use a gun not a single use can, much more controllable
mine has a big gap with a sloped flashing, Dont think its sealed though, my side sheets are perforated anyway to let drain drier air out
