Dribble bars under dosing.

We bought some new bfs manual adjusting dribble bars but can't get the correct amount out of them when testing with water. The chart says 2 bar pressure on number 2 hole , and we should get 2.34 litres per minute, but we are only getting 2lpm. Any one had anything similar?

Are you setting your SG accordingly in the cab?

Yes, we're just using water at the moment and will change to 1.25 when go on fert.

I did wonder this but don't have a gauge on a cap. New sprayer to me, chafer with delta 34i controller just to do fert.

When I had one of these controller's 20 years ago I can vaguely remember you could trick it into upping the rate, but I can't remember how to do it. Will give rds a call tomorrow.

Do you have boom recirculation? Could be a non return valve gone?

It's pressure based, it has a very primitive recirculation with very small diameter pipes back to tank. Maybe a set of molegrips on each pipe may do something?

Also worth checking that nothing else is going back to tank, such as tank rinse nozzles turned on.
