Got going again yesterday, about the only field that would go, currently stopped as next field just a bit too wet.
Not a lot left to do with WW.

got several areas about the farm like this

Same here, nick.

In fact, it's a great comfort to me first thing every morning this month to be wasting time going around looking all over, yet again, at the sad 2-3% or so acres here which are total crop failures.

Anything less than that and last autumn one might profitably have tried to drill a bit more, and anything more than that and one might now have been financially far better off by doing a bit less.

I could maybe push some but it needs to go in reasonably nicely and be out quick so will hold for now
Drillman gone skiing so that will stop us trying and making a mess for a week at least , really needs at least another 10 days with some sun and breeze though it has improved (5 dry days in a row) to the point where im of the view that we should get a chance of sowing ww before feb has passed so not going to rush,---yet, this patience is certainly trying mine even though im convinced its right

The varieties I have are only till end of Jan so hopefully get a chance if it carries on drying like today

join the club, most fields that I drive by are like this, but better to have 75% plus of field with WW growing than grow SB that will be worthless come harvest . Perhaps we should have all left roadside hedges uncut this year so we dont have to look at the pa:rolleyes:tches each time we drive by
