JD 750, straight into last year's pea stuble. First time I've been able to run since late October.

What seedrates will you guys be going? I’m planning around 220 kg/ha, or is that too light?

Apparently some chaps round here going 300Kg/Ha and higher to compensate for lack of tillering with late sowing?

Wheat. Will continue with wheat until late Feb here, April always comes with frost in this area.

Keep the seed rate well above normal and don't skimp on PGRs!

The Claydon wont cover the seed on this wetter heavier stuff after beet.
So got the old girl out to do some proper farming.

Winter barley drilled now will be very leggy!!!!!
I'm still very tempted to bung some in behind the beet weve just finished lifting but rain tonight, shooting saturday and monday then FACTS training starts on tuesday means I probably wont get round to it but at the moment I will have too much spring barley.
