Dry weather at last,top dressing 30n/6s on winter wheat at a rate of 80-100kg ha all continuous,looks promising after 175mm rain recorded jan/feb ,even low lying land that was flooded here in South Essex.

1mm here last night & showers today. Last weekend was the only good drying weather recently.

You're right though - this is an improvement on the last 4 months! I have top dressed half my osr and will get the wetter land done over the next few days before next week's forecast rain.

Where in south essex are you? We had 8mm yesterday afternoon.

What are you top dressing with? Been advised to hold back but will go Sunday/Monday if the weather holds, just the OSR it still doesn't look hungry but I think it's time to have a go, liquid 32n9S03

Double Top 27%N 30%SO3. Finishing the osr (100kg N) and barley (65kg N) over the next few days. The wheat can wait - the better travelling land doesn’t need any N yet and the backward stuff is still too wet to travel.
