Dye for Knapsack Spraying?

Not sure where to post this. But I've got an area of young trees planted and I need to knapsack spray where brambles are starting to encroach from the established woodland.

Can anyone recommend a good dye that I can add to the mix to show where I have sprayed? I bought some stuff a few years back to add to the tank and it was crap - couldn't see where I'd been.

Any recommendations?

Yeah always use blue dye in the knapsack, getting from the chem supplier is abit pricey,

The last lot i found was a 5lt bottle off ebay for a good price

5lts will last a long time!

Available in 500ml and 1lts too

Brilliant blue FCF (E133 I think). It's a blue dye that comes in granules, mix them up before adding to the tank or else the granules can gum up a bit.

be careful......... it's a bit 'mega' shall we say!

Horrible stuff, can’t seem to use it without wearing it for days after.
I remember a company sold tablets but they seemed to have stopped selling them, would those granules work ok in an agitated tank?

Sounds just like that dye we used to dye the potatoes with years ago when they were supposed to go for cattle feed. Heaven help you if you slipped or your hand shook when preparing it, blue hands and clothes for the next week.

Have you taken any land out of production from last autumn?
