We use both of these homes and deliver all winter. Muntons found some ergot recently (they now have a colour sorter) and this is a Ā£15 claim. Bairds will reject if any is found.

We have now scrapped the rest of the contract to sell as feed which is a higher price that the old malting contract!

Does that not invoke a default on the contract that you would have to buy yourself out of?

I've always said that malsters were only put on this earth to make millers look like reasonable people. How it is in this day and age that they get away with rejecting a load on a Friday that they happily take on a Monday I shall never know.

For what it is worth my experience is Bairds aren't as bad as some.
