Horsch pronto NT
Pronto NT is a no till drill designed to work primarily in no till situations hence the name NT. the one your thinking of the DC is the disc cultivator. We have run an NT alongside an avatar and it is hard to see the difference in a grass ley.

The 12m avatar is easy to do as it's just a row of coulters at the back, I agree the 6m is an absolute faff.
What would your preferred row spacing be?
12m Avatar with closer row spacing would be ordered tomorrow
you can pull a 12m avatar with a 724, it is 30k more than the 6m version in cost.Why 12m ?
I just can’t see the business case for 12m no till drill and the tractor size needed to pull it ........ not in the uk anyway, There are people doing 3-4K acres with a 4m
2x6m makes a lot more sense surely and be plenty of capacity for many, many thousands of acres ?
2x6m avatar/JD 750 180-200k + extra tractor. 12m avatar circa 120-130k one tractor...!you can pull a 12m avatar with a 724, it is 30k more than the 6m version in cost.

That's what they are now. I've spoken to two people with 12m avatars who say they can get away with a 724 most of the time (remember it's 25cm rows so you may we'll be correct if it had the same spacing as a 750)When was a 6m 750a 90-100k ?
Ours was 67k but I guess they will have gone up a bit in the past 4 years
