EFRA committee want to hear from farmers about experiences interacting with food processors, manufacturers and retailers.

I'm sure we've all got our own experiences and it would be good to let the powers that be know what it's like being at the bottom of the pile.

I think this kind of thing encourages food waste. When it's that cheap people will buy it and not worry whether or not they will actually eat it or if it gets thrown away. If it's priced sensibly, people will only buy what they are going to use and eat.
