Thankyou, that at least narrows it down from the comical.
However, as others are posting, there is still huge variation within those designations, as I've seen on my drive home today, detouring up to Fishguard and Newport, down to Carmarthen, across the Brecon Beacons to visit @MJT (thanks ) and then home via Raglan. I'd forgotten how good some of the ground is round the Beacons, with maize and spuds looking well, and some nice soil being ploughed up.
Respect to MJT and @Al R too farming where they do to such a high standard. Very different environments but both with their challenges.
Many thanks to Al for his hospitality and time, and looking forward to trying something different for me from MJT.

Didn't take many pics, and mostly aimed at showing Mrs PBH what she'd missed! But they do show your rock outcrops, and how exposed you are. I was struck by your comment of waves and spray reaching right across that field, and it sometimes being white with foam.

Who goes to Wales and why?






Doesn't quite hve the same appeal as say Canada

The vast majority of tourists / visitors to Wales are from the UK. Their stay lengths aren't usually for their two weeks in the Summer (ala Spain) or six weeks 'to do the country' (ala NZ) but for shorter periods, such as long weekends.

The majority of tourists that visit Wales, have things in common, they like to do things / see things, get in the country or get away from it all.
