electric ram thingys???

rams that are electric powered rather than hydraulic....what are they actually called and where can you get them?....need one for a round baler tie mechanism....thought about hydraulic but space tight which is why they opted for leccy in first place....baler,like me, is obsolete so nae chance of genuine bit

Holin Applications, as posted above, have been mentioned for the linear actuators for Kuhn fert spreaders before now.
Iirc they have a fairly extensive website, with lots of pretty pictures & measurements.

Linear actuator.
Loads on eBay and cheap as chips but are slow and poor quality. Bit so cheap you can have 5 on shelf for same price as quality.
As above. Hollin applications seem to have the ag market sorted
