As above, what do we think non SDA Entitlements are worth now to sell/buy.

Agreed to buy quota off Townsend's in the past, all priced up deal done, waited for paperwork which never came. Phoned up too see what was happening and was told the price had gone up (was getting close to deadline date). I bought else where just in time, and would never deal with them again. This also happened to some one else I know in a later year. Mark Dyson was much better to deal with.As above they seem to be on the mark , decent newsletters , bought quota and entitlements off them over the years
Have done the same, didn't phone Townsend thoughLast time I bought entitlements I just rang Townsend to see what they where trading at then asked on here if anyone was selling some. Got a good deal from a forum member as they had no broker fees to pay and they transferred them while I was on the phone, very pleased with the deal.
Just be carefulI must have got lucky then had suckler quota , and sfp or bps entitlements seem to got it sorted good enough for me , may be I have low standards
I'm intrigued as to why 15 years down the line since entitlements were introduced there is still bare land, is this because the former owner/ tenant sold the entitlements off separately?I will be needing about 26ha or so.
I may not want to buy entitlements from the people who have given up the land when they want to sell them, also I am to lose one small field elsewhere to horses and so won't need as many as they have gotI'm intrigued as to why 15 years down the line since entitlements were introduced there is still bare land, is this because the former owner/ tenant sold the entitlements off separately?
Land gets sold to people who don’t claim the bps or aren’t eligible and the entitlements elapse, the land is then sold on an the new owner has to then buy entitlements to claim.I'm intrigued as to why 15 years down the line since entitlements were introduced there is still bare land, is this because the former owner/ tenant sold the entitlements off separately?
Where on there does it say current prices?Anything you want to know about entitlements check the Townsends website.

Usually best to give them a call and see what the price is on the day, but remember they will be changing a broker fee so will be more expensive than a private sale.Where on there does it say current prices?
