ERTH Agriseeder vs Simtech TS Grass 300

The one I went to look at had why I don't know maybe it was to uproot dead grasses or level uneven ruts ,I think Denis recommend s it but I stand corrected
It’s a new add on this year , it will create a bit more loose soil , in loose soil if you keep it up it will blow out seed in a wide row , I sowed some like this and the row of seed was 5 cm wide .

How practical is the rear packer, I imagine if drilling into a tacky stubble it might block? Can you remove it without consequence to the depth control?

Which drill - Erth don't use a packer
Ours came without a front rake , which may have been a mistake as I could have put that down hard infront of the disk
I've tried running a tine harrow over first but not sure about the outcome as it tends to leave blobs of dead grass about

Packer/roller on the Erth agriseeder. They have one on all the marketing material.
