Got one of these locally being rebranded from BP to Essar
Never heard of them quick google , its owned by Rosneft - Russian .
Why hasn't everything Russian been closed down , we are funding that barsteward putins war , what's the matter with the powers that be.
Ohh yes principles, what's right do not matter if ££££££ is involved .
If we stopped this, then the owners of these businesses would pressure putin from within.
It's a truly screwed up world.

They are building it because Russia is the only nation with oil in any quantity for sale.
There will be a lot more of them appearing after this next election so everyone better get used to it.................thats what a windfall tax does to your national oil supply 😉

Essar own Stanlow oil refinery and I thought it was Indian owned rather than Russian.
Local Essar station is miles lower price than most others around.
Our local one is Essar and as you say competitive on price
I tried google , Indian owned up to 2016 I think then Russian ( but it’s a bit confusing what’s on the net)

There’s one near me at Bourton-on-the-Hill. Seems popular.
A Google search shows Essar Oils HG at Wexford-on-Avon, near Stratford.

You're getting plenty of russian oil products - it's just rebadged as it goes through other countries. Think of it like cutting Irish beef in UK abatoirs, or sticking your RT sticker on next doors grain.
Just like the 2000% increase in sales of luxury UK built cars to Aberjgajn
