Excavator breakers / final drive rebuild

I have an old (early 90s) Nissan/hanix ~5t digger. I have trawled through the websites of the few breakers I was aware of but their stock is rather more modern and mainstream than as to accommodate requests for this oddball, prehistoric machine. Does anyone have any suggestions for breakers that may help?
I have completely stripped the drive out. The swash plate is scored. One of the 9 pistons cracked through and completely trashed the workings. Has anybody rebuilt a final drive with a kit, or does it generally work out cheaper to buy a replacement?
Thanks

We are in the same position but with a Case 35

I have found second hand which look similar but would they fit?

On Friday I rang these people.

They will collect old one and give an estimate for free. Then give us the option of a reconditioned one or repair.
Ours is being collected tomorrow can keep you updated if you like.

Thanks for the replies. Yes I would be interested to hear how you get on. Thanks.
I already have a seal kit 🤦‍♂️ so my plan was buy a used one and then open and refurb, if I could find one. Im sure I saw a couple of case ones on the breakers websites I looked at.

I got a quote from a company in China through Alibaba.(Alibaba verified supplier)
My machine is 22 ton though. It was about 2300 pounds inc. shipping. 35 days.
It sounds almost too good to be true.

C J plant picked up the track motor at 2pm as promised.

I also filled in a quote request from plant parts eu in the link above and they have got back with price £1270 for a replacement unit.

Both have come back very quick and I now have a price to compare CJ plants quote.

Rebuilding a final drive can be quite challenging, especially for an older machine like your early 90s Nissan/Hanix digger. It often depends on the availability of parts and the extent of the damage. In your case, with a cracked piston and a scored swash plate, a rebuild might end up being more costly and time-consuming than finding a replacement.

For a reliable solution, I recommend checking out final drive motors from Precision Final Drives. They offer a wide range of high-quality final drives, and while your machine is an older model, it's worth reaching out to see if they have what you need. They often carry parts for various makes and models, including less common ones.

Precision Final Drives also provides excellent customer support, so they might be able to guide you on whether a rebuild kit is a viable option or if a complete replacement would be more cost-effective in the long run.

Good luck with your digger, and I hope you find the parts you need!
